Product FAQs
Can I use tissue oil on my stretch marks?
Tocopherol or Vitamin E in the tissue oil may help improve the appearance of stretch marks by promoting collagen production and skin hydration. Sweet almond oil, Sunflower oil and Crambe Abyssinica Seed oil are gentle, nourishing oils that can help keep the skin moisturised and supple, which may be beneficial for stretch marks.
Will the tissue oil help reduce my cellulite?
Caffeine is a vasoconstrictor, meaning it can temporarily narrow blood vessels when applied topically. This property may lead to temporary tightening and smoothing of the skin's appearance, which can make cellulite appear less noticeable. It can also help improve blood circulation when applied topically. Better circulation may contribute to the reduction of fluid retention and the appearance of cellulite. To see potential benefits, consistent and long-term use of caffeine-based products is necessary. For more effective cellulite reduction, a combination of approaches, including a healthy diet, regular exercise, staying hydrated, and maintaining a stable weight, is essential.
Will the tissue oil remove my scars?
Sweet almond oil, Sunflower oil and Crambe Abyssinica Seed oil can help keep the skin hydrated. Well-hydrated skin can appear smoother, which may help reduce the visibility of scars. Sunflower seed oil and Vitamin E are rich in antioxidants and can support the skin's natural repair processes. This may help with the appearance of scars over time.
While these ingredients may offer some benefits, it's important to note that the effectiveness of scar reduction products can depend on factors such as the age and type of scars, skin type, and consistency of use. In many cases, scar management requires a combination of approaches, including time, skincare products, and potentially medical interventions.
If you are specifically looking to reduce the appearance of scars, you may also consider consulting with a dermatologist or skincare professional.
Can I use the tissue oil on my nails and cuticles?
Yes, the oil can be applied to dry cuticles and nails to help moisturise and condition them.
I am sensitive to caffeine. Can I still use the product?
While caffeine can have stimulating effects when consumed orally, the absorption of caffeine through the skin is relatively low, and its effects are primarily localised to the area of application.
What are the aromatherapy benefits of the tissue oil?
The essential oils in the product, such as Bergamot, Rose Geranium, Lemon, and Patchouli, can offer aromatherapeutic benefits such as help relieve stress, improve mood, or provide a pleasant scent for relaxation.
