Clinical Support
Backed by clinically studied active ingredients
Clinical studies on Vitisin®(the key active in PhytoBright) demonstrated measurable benefits in ingredient-level research:
- 18% reduction in the measured area of hyperpigmented spots after 28 days
- 14% reduction in the measured perimeter of hyperpigmented spots after 28 days
- 90% of participants noticed an improvement in spot size after 28 days
-
76% of participants noticed visibly brighter skin after 56 days
* Results from two ingredient-level studies using Vitisin® twice daily: a 28-day hyperpigmentation study and a 56-day skin-brightness study. PhytoBright itself has not yet undergone independent clinical testing. Individual results may vary.
Why Your Skin Needs This
- Helps visibly correct dark spots – Vitisin® helps regulate tyrosinase activity, a key step in excess melanin production, supporting the gradual improvement of dark spots and uneven tone.
- Supports healthy skin renewal – Bakuchiol encourages cell turnover, helping pigmented surface cells shed more evenly over time for smoother, brighter-looking skin.
- Targets uneven tone through complementary actives – Liquorice supports a clearer, more even-looking complexion, while antioxidant-rich Rice Bran Oil helps nourish and protect the skin.
- Corrects while it moisturises – Glycerin, Rice Bran Oil, Kalahari Melon Oil and Vitamin E replenish moisture and support the skin barrier, allowing PhytoBright to double as your daily moisturiser.
In separate laboratory testing, Vitisin® demonstrated stronger tyrosinase inhibition than kojic acid at both concentrations tested.
Pigmentation Takes Time
Correcting uneven pigmentation is a gradual process. PhytoBright helps regulate excess melanin production while supporting skin renewal, but existing pigmented surface cells still need time to move through the skin’s natural renewal cycle and shed.
Use PhytoBright consistently, morning and evening, for at least eight weeks. Deeper or more persistent pigmentation may take longer to visibly improve.
Daily Sunscreen Is Essential
UV exposure stimulates melanin production and can deepen existing dark spots or trigger new pigmentation, working directly against the progress you are trying to achieve.
Apply a broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher every morning and reapply during prolonged sun exposure. PhytoBright does not replace sunscreen.
The Circular Active Story (Vitisin®)
Each year, around 2% of French vines are renewed to make way for new plantings. Their roots, naturally rich in Vitisin A and B, are collected and given a valuable second purpose. The brightening molecules already present in the roots are carefully extracted and purified without chemical transformation. The result is Vitisin® (Vitis Vinifera Root Extract) - a 100% natural-origin active that turns vineyard renewal into high-performance pigmentation care.
